There are different types of funding that can be used at Living Word Speech Pathology.
Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM Plan)
As a member of Speech Pathology Australia, Living Word Speech Pathology can provide Medicare funded sessions. Clients with chronic conditions and complex needs may be eligible for five Medicare funded sessions per calendar year. A plan can be obtained from your GP after they determine eligibility. Medicare will provide you with a rebate of $58.30 per session. Claims can be processed on-site.
Private Health Funds
Speech Pathology is covered by certain health funds. The rebate provided depends on your level of cover. Your private health insurance company will be able to inform you whether you are covered for speech pathology services and how much rebate you can receive. Claims can be processed on-site through HICAPS.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Living Word Speech Pathology is an unregistered NDIS Provider. We are able to work with self managed and plan managed clients.
